How To Get A Hunting License In South Carolina

For both small game and big game, you need to have a hunting license if you are above 15 years old. Younger hunters may hunt without one but they will still need to purchase the necessary tags. Older residents (64+ years old) may apply for a lifetime license at a discounted rate. There is a Junior Sportsman License that is only offered to residents aged 16 and 17 years.

The state of North Carolina recognizes the following groups and offers them special licenses: military/veterans, people with disabilities, senior and junior residents.

Apart from the South Carolina Outdoors website, you can get your license from a legitimate license agent or a Natural Resources office.
