The state of Arizona allows anyone to hunt. Children (under 10) do not need a license but they will have to be supervised by an adult. They are, however, prohibited from killing big game. Older children, 14 and under, can take big game only if they complete the Hunter education course.
Even after getting a license, hunters have to acquire a permit tag for big game.
In Arizona, buying a hunting license is fairly easy. You can visit the Arizona Game and Fish Department website or find approved retailers (like Walmart).
As with the other states above, Arizona offers different kinds of hunting licenses including a senior hunting license, disability license (for disabled veterans only) and a military/veteran license.
