In Utah, there are two main types of hunting licenses, the Combination License and the Basic Hunting License. Every resident and non-resident hunter above the age of 17 must have either one of the two. Even with the license, extra permits and tags may be necessary for some species.
Senior residents, the youth, people with disabilities and military personnel have their own special licenses. For those serving in the military, it is more of a privilege that allows them to buy the regular resident hunting licenses.
Approved license retailers can be found all over Utah. If you cannot get one, check the Utah wildlife website.
