Florida offers hunting licenses to all qualifying hunters who are above 16 years. Before you apply, you must take and complete the hunter’s safety course. Younger children are allowed to hunt as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a license. Older residents, 65 years and older, can hunt without a license.
The types of hunting licenses offered include resident, non-resident, disability license (free) and military/veteran.
Other than the state’s wildlife website, you can buy your license from the tax collector’s office in your county or an approved retailer.
