How To Get A Hunting License In Nebraska

The government of Nebraska allows anyone to hunt. All hunters that are 16 years or older must get a hunting permit and a Habitat Stamp too. Young residents (15 years and below) may hunt without a permit. Non-residents, on the other hand, are required to have a Habitat Stamp and a hunting permit. Youth non-residents should obtain a Habitat Stamp and a Youth Hunting permit.

Senior residents, disabled veterans and military/veterans are eligible for special licenses which are offered at a reduced fee.

A Nebraska hunting permits can be bought from a Games and Parks commission office, the department’s website or an approved seller.
