How To Get A Hunting License In Louisiana

According to Louisiana laws, residents and nonresidents must acquire a Basic Hunting License if they are 16 years or older. Bowhunters (or anyone using a primitive weapon) should get a special license in addition to the basic one. This goes for specific species too.

Apart from the resident and non-resident licenses, the state of Louisiana has special licenses for seniors, students, military/veterans and people with disabilities. You can also get yourself a lifetime license.

To apply for your license online or find a retailer near you, go to the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries website.
